HONEY BEE PRODUCT USES

POTTING COMPOUNDS
We have formulated polyurethanes for potting compounds using MDI, for low temperature processing, for safer handling, for ease of processing, and for high performance. Our chemists work with clients to dial-in performance characteristics to meet stringent criteria. Recent projects include a 60 second cure time, temperature resistance beyond 300F, and resistance to Hydrogen Fluoride exposure.
ADHESIVES AND BINDERS
Honey Bee Polyurethanes offer an exceptionally durable bond with the desired flexibility or rigid strength required, with materials as diverses as foam crumb, recycled rubber grind, and stone aggregate.
COMPOSITE RESINS
Our experience includes a patent-pending epoxy-like resin with temperature resistance over 350F, Glass Transition exceeding 530F, and tensile modulus exceeding 195,000 psi. We can address the requirements of applications including reinforced fiberglass parts, electrical potting, and under-the-hood engine casings.
CAST MOLDING
Low viscosity at room temperature for easy mixing and processing. Self-catalyzed, self-cured MDI formulations mean no toxic catalysts or curatives for safer handling and fast, full cure.
